I like this simple recipe so much that I've saved the card with its recipe on it since 1997. Easy, quick, adaptable. A perfect blend of sweet and sour. What's not to like?

It's billed as Three-Minute Pickles. Uhm, only if you happen to have perfectly mandoline-thinly-sliced veggies ready.
But otherwise, it is excellent and versatile. I substitute agave nectar for the sugar, but otherwise remain true to the recipe.
If you don't have radishes, you could use sweet red pepper slivers. Or, pretty much any other vegetable combination would work, provided the veggies are fresh and extremely thinly sliced. Add herbs to taste. Fresh dill, parsley, mint. Whatever is your favorite.
